EVOC Wins 2009 Nanshan Achievement Award for Technology Innovation

December 30, 2009, the Peoples Government of Nanshan District and Nanshan Science and Technology Bureau hosted an award ceremony for winners (including corporate winners and individuals) of 2009 Nanshan Achievement Award for Technology Innovation. The four corporate winners included EVOC Intelligent, a leading industrial PC player headquartered in the district. This high honor granted to EVOC fully reflects the recognition from Nanshan District Committee and District Government for the company' s efforts devoted to independent innovation.

It is reported that the selection criteria for the awards is based on Tentative Measures for Technology Innovation Incentives in Nanshan District and Operation Procedure for Technology Innovation Incentives in Nanshan District. The procedure includes application, reviewing related documents, on-site oral examination and joint conference approval. The purpose of this activity is to exert exemplary role of advanced enterprises, encourage more scientific & technological institutes, enterprises and individuals to throw themselves into the cause of technological progress, focus on transformation and application of technical achievements and make greater contribution to the technological advancement.

Mr. Ye Minhui, Secretary of Nanshan District Committee of the CPC, in the final speech introduced the future plan for the development of the district, and expressed that the district government will give further and greater support to the independent R&D and innovation efforts of hi-tech enterprises. "Entrepreneurs should further emancipate their minds and make the enterprises bigger and stronger by unremitting innovation!", he encouraged.
